Cora Blu…Autumn

Longer evenings, busier mornings and cool nights. The perfect weather to stop and inhale.

Summer’s getting sleepy, dropping her leaves to the ground, stripping away all doubt that she may have, that she’d come on to strong this year, or didn’t come on strong enough. She did what was in her soul.

As the earth absorbs their nutrients, from what summer believed was soiled and worn about her or not good enough any longer, it feeds until bursting. Like baby birds eating for the first time.

The ground is the warmest it will ever be all year and will gently pass on that heat to the plants and creatures within her walls until spring rolls around and wakes them up again fat and ready to shine with the sun again.

Ah Autumn.

Now is the time to nourish those people we take into our lives and call them acquaintances, friends, family…loved ones. Release some of the love and kindness we held onto when someone smiled at us or laughed at our corny jokes or just returned our call/ email/ text even when we called at the most inopportune moment. :p

Be someone’s summer, nourishing them with love even when you think you don’t have any to spare. You’ve been storing it up and you just don’t know it.

Release a little sunshine back on the world. Help warm this coming winter from the inside out.

Thanks for letting me “fall” into your day.  🙂

I write romance because there’s always a little love inside of you to share no matter how dark the days become.

Sincerely, Cora Blu.

Look for my latest to arrive this winter 2013 “Threat” the follow up to Stranded but not Alone. Have a great weekend and smile. You may be someone’s winter nourishment.
