Bourbon Chops

by on March 20, 2013
The nice thing about this recipe is chicken can be used in place of the chops and the meat can be tossed on a grill. However if you’re going to use the marinade as a sauce be sure to boil it for 2-3 minutes before serving,
  • 4 pork chops
    • 1/2 cup chicken broth or bourbon
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1/4 tablespoon ginger
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. In skillet, brown chops on both sides.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together until mixed well.
  3. Preheat oven to 350.
  4. Place pork chops in casserole dish or glass baking dish.
  5. Pour sauce over pork chops.
  6. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  7. Serve with rice or noodles.
