We Interrupt Our Regularly Scheduled Program…

by on January 24, 2013

IMG_0518To bring you a message from our sponsors. 🙂 No, not really, but the show must go on and while this post is a little late in going up, there is a post. Sitting over breakfast this morning with my fab husband we were talking about the trips and vacations we’d like to take this year. Our biggest will be part of his continuing education for his job and we’ll spend a month in North Carolina. Sun, sun and more sun. However when we go, our first stop will be Time Out Chicken.

If you’re a foodie or love watching the food shows this little restaurant may sound familiar as it was featured on Man vs. Food and there’s a barbecue place down there as well. Actually we ate at most of the places Adam Richman, the host of Man vs. Food traveled to, and we were not disappointed. Then we discovered a few places of our own.

But back to the Time Out Restaurant. OMG! They have THE BEST chicken and cheddar biscuit I’ve ever had and this will be our first stop when we arrive in Durham/Chapel Hill area. We may even check out Wimpy’s and The Pit again. Although while we were in Chapel Hill I tried not to think too hard about Kiss the Girls-the Alex Cross movie with the serial killer. Yeah, that’s just the way my mind works.IMG_0528

So if you’ve got a fave restaurant in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area…sound out and let me know. I’d love to try the local flair.

I’m one of your husband’s classmates. I live in High Point and have some knowledge and a great appreciation of food. Perhaps we can get a group together and visit some of the legendary places in the Triangle.
